“A Tea Stall”
A tea stall is basically a small shop which can be seen almost every where in our country.So,it is a very popular place in both rural and city areas.It is found at the bus station,village market,roadside areas,university areas,railway stations and many other places.It is a place where prepared tea is sold and served.It plays an important role in our day to day life.A tea stall usually opens very early in the morning and closes late at night.The workers,helping hand as well as the owner of the shop works in the tea stall from dawn to dusk.The owner himself/herself or a manager runs the stall. Besides tea or coffee, biscuits, cakes, breads etc are also sold in the tea stall.Little boys are seen to work in these type of shops and serves customers.They often makes tea too and washes utensils to earn money.It is a very pathetic scenario of a tea stall that children are working there as a labourer while they should go to school in that time.But,there is also some good news.Some NGO’s and different organisations are running night schools for teaching working childs in night.A tea stall is always noisy and crowded.People of different ages and classes come here and enjoy their tea with lots of thought sharing about country politics,world politics,sports,daily life issues etc.Basically, there.Villagers,passengers,drivers,rickshaw pullers,passer by, labourers, politics workers are the customer of the tea stall. People from different walks of life discuss their respective issues with one another. Sometimes, the political discussions turn into quarrels. So a tea stall is called a “Mini Shangshad”.
