Nowadays food are often adulterated. Food Adulteration refers to International addition of some unwanted substances to food or the removal of valuable substances from the food.Adulteration is a legal term which mean that a food product fails to federal or state standards.Food Adulteration is the process of making Food by mixing and other substance or chemical which is not good for human health and also have chronic harmful effect on human vital organs. Bakery and confectionery products are also prepared by using toxic substances and thus they get adulterated. Junk food contains harmful chemicals. Even fruits, milk, and beverages are also adulterated.The substances which are used in food adulteration process is named Adulterant. An adulterant is caused by the act of adulteration, a practice of secretly mixing a substance with another. Typical substances that are adulterated include but are not limited to food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, fuel, or other chemicals, that compromise the safety or effectiveness of the said substance.Chemicals are mixed with food to look them attractive. As you know that food is very important to human. But this food must be pure clean and fresh. Nowadays Food Adulteration has become a alarming problem all over the world including our country. Adulterated food contains some destructive substance such as Aldrine,DDT,Formaline etc. This Chemicals are highly harmful for human body. Kinds of research shows that they are hardly any food products which are not adulterated. Adulterated foods are serious health hazard. The causes many fatal disease even death. However our government has taken some steps to remove food adulteration. But this is absolutely not not sufficient at all. In the end it is not possible for government to solve food adulteration problem single handedly. Public awareness should be created against food adulteration. We must be careful about buying food and food products to decrease this problem.
